We just received another Star!

Pardon us if we crow a little bit!

According to Charity Navigator, the largest independent  rating agency of nonprofit organizations, Adventure Unlimited has been given a Four Star rating for “efficiency in managing its resources and executing its mission in a fiscally responsible way.” One of the criteria for receiving the top rating is maintaining a low administrative expense (11%) and high expenditure on program services (79 %).

In a letter to Rich Clarke, A/U’s CEO, Ken Berger, President of Charity Navigator, said, “Approximately a quarter of the 5,500 charities we evaluate have received our highest rating indicating that Adventure Unlimited executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way and outperforms most other charities in America.”

Thanks for sharing this “feel good” moment with us. We thought you would want to know.
