Building confidence and skills

We are committed to designing programs that fit each group’s needs and goals (e.g., communications, teams building, ecology, service, outdoor skills development, celebration).

Our most popular programs are single-day and multi-day residential stays (2-5 days) where participating groups can choose from a variety of activities including: high and low ropes courses, team building initiatives, ecology, canoeing, orienteering, indoor rock gym, horseback riding, night hikes and more. The Center operates during the Spring season (April-May) and Fall (September-October).

I was impressed with the staff’s ability to meet the children wherever they were in their experience and encourage them to participate and stretch themselves, while still having fun!

While our facilities are wonderful and the programs are comprehensive, the true heart of the 100 Elk Outdoor Center is the staff. We remove limitations and support participants to step outside their comfort zones and to soar in their own unique way. Whether it is helping a child past a difficult section of the ropes course or dissolving the fear that would keep them from mounting a horse, our staff is there celebrating each step of their progress.
