A/U Career Network

A/U Career Network

career networkingAre you an avid networker? Do you have deep industry skills? Would you consider serving as a career mentor for 20-30 year-olds or anyone in transition? Have you had training in resume writing? Does your work history include time with “A” list companies?

If so, we could use your help as a Career Guide for A/U’s Career Network.

Adventure Unlimited is cultivating the support of alumni to help provide employment guidance and expertise to fellow A/U & DB alum who are in the job market. What better way to give back to the organization and selflessly assist those who may be in need.

The process is simple; contact us by email and give us the following information:

  1. name and address
  2. preferred email address
  3. phone number
  4. current and past employment position(s)
  5. current and past employer(s)
  6. industry expertise
  7. indication of how may times you would ideally prefer to be contacted by (weekly, monthly, etc.) We will be respectful of your information and will closely monitor the number of referrals directed to you. Once this resource team is in place, we’ll add a link to the A/U & DB websites where individuals who could benefit from such support can notify us of their interests.

Searching for a job or have one you need to fill?

Log on to the A/U website, click on Alumni, then Alumni Network and you’ll gain access to: “Job Opportunities” – this allows you to create a selective query of any open job postings or, “Create Job Interest Postings” – where you can post job openings in your organization or those you may be familiar with in other companies.

Thank you for your support of this effort. The rich in spirit help the poor in one grand brotherhood, all having the same Principle, or Father; and blessed is that man who seeth his brother’s need and supplieth it, seeking his own in another’s good. —Science & Health 518:15-19
