Youth Staff Giving – Matching Grant Challenge
Daniel Powell’s Challenge to A/U – DB Alum
by Hannah McCauley
“It was the last day of youth camp for the staff when Gina Lindquist, the Executive Director of Adventure Unlimited, informed us about the Alumni Matching Challenge. My thoughts went straight to – how much? There was no question as to whether I was going to donate!
I have the utmost gratitude for being a staff member at camp for the past two years and an NLC participant for the past four years. Donating is a small way to repay what A/U has given me. The growth that staff members and campers receive through Christian Science, the people, the environment, and the activities at A/U are unparalleled to any other experience I have had.
There was no question as to whether I was going to donate!
I know for myself that I have become a woman I am proud of because of the hard work, friendships, and spirituality I have received through my opportunities at A/U. Adventure Unlimited is for me the, ‘Secret place of the most high’ (Psalms). It is to be treasured and loved forever; not just for me, but for everyone who is blessed to be a part of it.”
Thank you for your support!
