Join us for a Women's Bible Study
February 25 - March 1, 2009!
Topic: "Matthew - Our Guide to Discipleship"
This year we will focus on this well-loved first Gospel in our New Testament, while taking a deeper look at its themes, author, context and implications for today. Please join us as we study the Gospel of Matthew which launched the New Testament, yet was not written first!
Why did the early Church turn to it for guidance so much so that it became known as the church handbook? We'll explore what the Gospel teaches about discipleship, both then and now, and how the 'ecclesia' or church community in Matthew's day so informs our church experience of today.
After you register there will be further suggestions as to how you can best prepare, including a conference call in January to answer any questions.
Daily schedule: Discussion and study sessions together in the morning with time in the afternoons for independent study or activities such as exploring the Ranches and its beautiful surroundings. After dinner we will come together again to continue our study. We are holding enrollment to 40, so please sign up as soon as your plans are firm in order to have a place.
